MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. Air defenses destroyed a Ukrainian fixed-wing drone over the Belgorod Region, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"The Kiev regime made an attempt to carry out a terrorist attack with a fixed-wing drone on sites on the territory of the Russian Federation, which was foiled at about 09:40 a.m. Moscow time on October 5, 2024. The Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed over the territory of the Belgorod Region by on-duty air defense capabilities," it said.
