MOSCOW, March 16. /TASS/. Russian air defense forces destroyed two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Belgorod Region, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Saturday.

"At about 8:30 a.m. Moscow time [5:30 a.m. GMT] on March 16, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack with an aircraft-type drone against facilities on Russian territory was foiled. Alert air defense forces destroyed two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the Belgorod Region," the ministry said in a statement.
