Scholz says he won’t let German soldiers get involved in Ukraine conflict

The German chancellor has made a number of similar statements this week

BERLIN, March 1. /TASS/. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has said that he will not support any proposals that might get German service members involved in the conflict in Ukraine, Reuters reported citing the chancellor.

"I will not support any decision that results in German soldiers somehow being involved in a military operation" in Ukraine, Scholz said at an event in Munich.

Scholz has made a number of similar statements this week.

Earlier on Thursday, RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan said that on the day when German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that NATO was not and would not be involved in the Ukraine conflict, German top brass mulled the possibility of attacking the Crimean Bridge that would have no reverberations for the German authorities. Simonyan cites having a corroborating audio recording.
