Hungary sees EU’s Ukraine policy as missing the mark — Szijjarto

The Hungarian foreign minister pointed out that "today's meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels could be a good opportunity" to answer the relevant questions

BUDAPEST, November 13. /TASS/. Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said that Hungary does not think the EU is taking the right steps with regard to the Ukraine issue and sanctions against Russia.

"We should calmly, coolly, while being guided by common sense, think about where Europe has gone wrong, why Brussels continues to force migration, why it is necessary to double down on sanctions that damage the European economy, and whether there is a Plan B for Ukraine," the top diplomat wrote on his Facebook (a social media site banned in Russia since it is owned by Meta corporation deemed extremist by the Russian authorities).

Szijjarto pointed out that "today's meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels could be a good opportunity to answer all these questions." "Will it happen? Let's not get our hopes up," the minister added.
