Most Russian tourists in Cuba released from isolation after repeat Covid tests

Among those who arrived in Cuba between June 30 and July 4, everyone but two tourists received negative Covid-19 tests

HAVANA, July 6. /TASS/. Most Russian tourists put into isolation over suspected coronavirus infection in Cuba have been released after their repeat tests returned negative results, Russian Consul General in Havana Nana Mgeladze told TASS. Tuesday.

"A total of 230 express tests were taken yesterday among tourists who arrived in Cuba between June 30 and July 4. Everybody but two female tourists tested negatively," the Consul said. "These tourists were released from isolation in hotels.".
