Russian artillery destroys Ukrainian drone control posts, troops in Sumy Region

MOSCOW, September 29. /TASS/. A Grad multiple launch rocket system crew from the Battlegroup North’s 44th Army Corps destroyed Ukrainian drone control posts and troops while carrying out fire missions in the special military operation zone in the Sumy Region, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"During combat operations in the special military operation zone in the Sumy Region, a Grad multiple launch rocket system crew from the 30th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Battlegroup North’s 44th Army Corps, working in coordination with unmanned systems operators and reconnaissance units, carried out a precision volley strike on an area in a forest belt where the enemy had concentrated drone control posts and personnel," the ministry said.

The ministry specified that after receiving targeting data, the crew fired a volley strike that completely destroyed the Ukrainian army’s drone control posts, along with the personnel and equipment located there.
