MOSCOW, September 30. /TASS/. US President Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election over Donald Trump through fraud, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin has said, arguing that, unlike in the United States, democracy in Russia is genuine.

"Our democracy is not contrived, unlike in the West, in the United States. They abandoned genuine elections; they vote by mail, yet there are not even voters’ return addresses. It is nothing but fraud. Trump suffered, and Biden overtook him last time thanks to that fraud," Volodin said at the first plenary session of the 9th State Duma.

Volodin also noted that Biden remains a free man.

"If there were a genuine legal system there, the 'guillotine' would be employed. But they reserve that for the rest of the world, while doing nothing of the sort at home," he added.
