Russia dispatches another flight carrying over 20 metric tons of humanitarian aid for Gaza

The humanitarian cargo will be delivered to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society which will then transport it to the Gaza Strip

MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. A special Il-76 flight of the Russian Emergencies Ministry carrying more than 20 metric tons of humanitarian cargo for the Gaza population has departed for ‘Arish, Egypt, the ministry told TASS.

"A Russian Emergencies Ministry flight will deliver over 20 metric tons of humanitarian cargo, including food and essentials," the ministry said, adding that the aid had been collected at the initiative of Russia’s Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.

The humanitarian assistance will be delivered to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society which will then transport it to the Gaza Strip.

This has been Russia’s 14th special flight with humanitarian supplies for the Palestinian enclave.
