Ukrainian military shells LPR 35 times in past month, killing 20

LUGANSK, February 1. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military shelled the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) 35 times in the past month, killing 20 people and leaving 36 wounded, the LPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukrainian war crimes said on Wednesday.

"The LPR mission to the JCCC recorded 35 Ukrainian shelling attacks on the LPR territory in January 2023, which involved heavy weapons and targeted 18 settlements," the mission said in a statement on Telegram.

"The Ukrainian armed forces’ aggression affected 56 civilians in the reported period, including two kids, one of whom was killed. A total of 20 people lost their lives and 36 suffered wounds in the past month," the statement reads.
