MOSCOW, January 29. / TASS /. Liberalization of the business environment is the best anti-crisis measure, said Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Thursday at a government meeting.
"The move to reduce state presence in the economy is obvious, and the best anti-crisis tool is to provide further freedom for businesses," Medvedev said.
At the same time, the Prime Minister noted that the liberalization involves certain issues, like keeping in mind consumer interests.
"We need to increase the liability of self-regulation, including possible financial responsibility, to provide greater decision-making transparency," said Medvedev, calling for an improvement of the legal framework in this area.
