Russia’s gasoline output down to about 16 million tons in January-May

MOSCOW, June 2. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s gasoline output has decreased 0.5% on the year to 15.7 million tons in January-May, the Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy Complex, or CDU TEK, an agency that provides data and analysis to the Energy Ministry, said on Monday.

In May, the country’s gasoline output remained flat on the year at 3.1 million tons.

Diesel fuel output grew 11.2% on the year to 32.2 million tons in January-May; fuel oil output went up 6.5% on the year to 32.2 million tons in the period and grew 2.4% to 6.5 million tons in May. Jet fuel output grew 8.1% on the year to 4.3 million tons on the year and increased 6.3% to 1 million tons on the month.
