MAKHACHKALA, January 22. /TASS/. Caspian Shiva dry cargo ship has grounded in the Caspian Sea near the Russian port of Makhachkala, emergency services told TASS.

"Caspian Shiva dry cargo ship ran aground near the port of Makhachkala. Water is coming to the hold from damaged ballast tanks," a spokesperson told TASS.

The crew is pumping out water now. Two tugs are en route to the vessel.
