The MOEX Russia Index gained 0.79% to 3,212.24 points. The RTS Index increased by 0.8% to 1,140.37 points.

The yuan lost 0.013% to 12.216 rubles. The dollar edged down by 0.03% to 88.77 rubles. The euro dropped by 0.08% to 96.52 rubles.
