Russian Pacific Fleet ships end two-day visit to Indonesia

During the two-day stay in Indonesia, along with joint drills, the Russian sailors had a friendly football and volleyball matches

VLADIVOSTOK, November 30. /TASS/. Ships of the Russian Pacific Fleet have rounded off a two-day visit to Indonesia where their crews took part in joint drills, the Fleet’s spokesman, Nikolai Voskresensky, said on Thursday.

"Today, Russian Pacific Fleet ships, the Admiral Panteleyev large anti-submarine ship and the Boris Butoma large sea-going tanker finished their unofficial visit to Indonesia and left the port of Tanjung Priok in northern Jakarta," he said.

During their two-day stay in Indonesia, along with joint drills, the Russian sailors had a friendly football and volleyball matches and a tug-of-war game. The Admiral Panteleyev was open for visit by general public and Russian sailors were offered a sightseeing tour.
