MOSCOW, January 6. /TASS/. Servicemen of Russia’s western battlegroup have destroyed an armored vehicle carrying the command staff of a Ukrainian unit in the Kupyansk area, the Russian Defense Ministry told TASS.

"In the Kupyansk area, the intelligence officers received data on the enemy forces' build-up and transmitted the coordinates to the command post. The servicemen of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the western battlegroup destroyed an armored vehicle in which the command staff of one of the infantry units of the Ukrainian military was moving," the statement said.

The ministry added that Russian drone operators constantly record the coordinates of the location of Ukrainian military facilities, command posts, fortifications, positions, weapons depots and military equipment, and transmit them to the command post.
