Keith Kellogg remains part of US team working to resolve Ukraine crisis — White House

"He's played a tremendous role in getting the negotiations to this point, and he's very much still part of the Trump administration," White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt pointed out

WASHINGTON, February 12. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump’s Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg remains part of Washington’s team working to resolve the conflict, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said at a briefing.

"As for General Keith Kellogg, he remains a critical part of this team in this effort. He's played a tremendous role in getting the negotiations to this point, and he's very much still part of the Trump administration," she pointed out, commenting on Trump’s Truth Social post saying that Russian leader Vladimir Putin and he had agreed in a phone call to immediately start talks on resolving the Ukraine conflict.

The US president particularly said that he "asked Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Director of the CIA John Ratcliffe, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, and Ambassador and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, to lead the negotiations." However, Trump did not mention Kellogg in the post.
