CARACAS, December 15. /TASS/. Member-countries of the Bolivarian Alliance of the Americas (ALBA) approved the joint declaration in conclusion of their summit, President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro said on the air with the Venezolana de Televisión.

"The special declaration was adopted in the spirit of [ALBA] founders on the occasion of the 20th anniversary from the foundation date" of the regional association, Maduro said.

The plenary session of the summit took place for "four hours and forty minutes, and the work continued behind closed doors for two hours," the president added.
