ISTANBUL, November 7. /TASS/. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’ convoy came under an armed attack, one of his bodyguards was killed, the CNN Turk television channel reported on Tuesday.

No further details are available.

According to the Hurriyet newspaper, responsibility for the attack was claimed by Sons of Abu Jandal, a radical group. The radicals reportedly delivered a 24-hour ultimatum on Gaza to Abbas.
