US Justice Department finds new confidential documents in Biden’s house – counsel

They refer to those periods of time when the head of the White House served as a senator and vice president of the United States

WASHINGTON, January 22. /TASS/. The staff of the US Department of Justice has found a new portion of confidential documents when searching the house of President Joe Biden in Wilmington, Delaware, personal attorney for the US President Bob Bauer said in the released statement.

The Department of Justice "had full access to the President’s home, including personally handwritten notes, files, papers, binders, memorabilia, to-do lists, schedules and reminders going back decades," the attorney said.

The Department’s staff "took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials," Bauer informed. Some of these documents pertained to the time of Joe Biden’s service in the Senate and during his tenure as the Vice President.

The Department of Justice "also took for further review personally handwritten notes from the vice-presidential years," he added.
