KIEV, May 1. /TASS/. The government of Ukraine has made the decision not to raise gas prices for individual consumers until October, according to a decree published by the Strana web portal.
The decision was made to "meet the interests of the public," the statement says.
Earlier, the government pledged to maintain electricity prices at their current level.
Meanwhile, according to Strana, prices continue to grow in the country, including for consumer goods (up 4.5% in March), clothes and shoes (up 13%) and food (up 6.2%). Utility fees grew by 0.5%, healthcare services - by 5.6%.
