Nationalists blow up physics institute building in Kharkov — Russian Defense Ministry

Up to 50 staffers may be trapped under the ruins, Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev revealed

MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. Ukraine’s nationalist militants have blown up a building of the institute of physics and technology in Kharkov in an attempt to hide traces of nuclear research, the chief of Russia’s National Defense Command Center, Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev, has said.

"Another provocation by nationalists has occurred in Kharkov, where with the aim of concealing traces of nuclear research militants from territorial defense battalions have blown up one of the buildings of the institute of physics and technology. Up to 50 staffers may be trapped under the ruins," Mizintsev said.

In Kharkov, he went on to say, "in the cellar of a school in Yesenin street the militants hide the bodies of civilians killed in a punitive operation against those who refused to support the criminal regime in Kiev."

"In Sumy, the nationalists have been raiding private households and confiscating food, fuel, lubricants, equipment and private cars from civilians at gunpoint," Mizintsev said.
