BAKU, August 8. /TASS/. The United Nations Security Council should keep a keen eye on terrorists’ attempts to survive and timely update its lists of terrorist organizations, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday after talks between the Russian, Azerbaijani and Iranian presidents in the Azerbaijani capital city of Baku.
According to Lavrov, one of the topics the three leaders discussed was anti-terrorist efforts.
"The United Nations Security Council should keep a close eye on terrorists’ attempt to save their lives and timely update the lists of terrorist organizations," he said.
"Russia is confident that despite all Jabhat al-Nusra’s mimicry it is necessary to continue fight on terrorist organizations and update their lists all the time," Lavrov stressed.
