MOSCOW, June 1. /TASS/. Europe is being turned into a region that radiates not well-being but instability, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a meeting with Russian non-governmental organizations.
"We are witnesses to major changes in the international scene," he said. "Russia is part of the global world and it is changing right before our eyes."
Lavrov said new centers of growth and influence were emerging and gaining strength, including the Asia-Pacific Region above all.
"Also we observe such an extraordinary phenomenon as Europe’s transformation into a region that radiates not traditional well-being, but instability," Lavrov said.
