MOSCOW, December 6. /TASS/. More than 800 foreign mercenaries are accused of fighting for the Kiev regime in the Ukraine conflict, with over 600 of them put on a wanted list, the press office of Russia’s Investigative Committee told TASS on Friday.
"Work has been stepped up to hold criminally liable the mercenaries who participated in the conflict on the Ukraine side. Rulings have been issued against 813 mercenaries on putting them on trial as those accused, of whom more than 600 individuals have been declared wanted. A total of 80 criminal cases against foreigners have been sent to a court of law," the press office said in a statement.
During the week, the Investigative Committee will complete the investigation of the criminal case against British mercenary James Scott Rhys Anderson who participated in the Ukrainian army’s incursion in Russia’s borderline Kursk Region, it said.
