Readiness to Russia–Mongolia–China transport corridor is high

"The parties are gathering cargo traffic information," head of Buryatia Alexey Tsydenov said

ULAANBAATAR, March 20. /TASS/. Readiness for organizing a transport and logistical corridor from Russia via Mongolia to China is at a high level and all the parties are gathering cargo traffic information, head of Buryatia Alexey Tsydenov said at a meeting with Bukhchuluun Purevdorj, the Deputy Chairman of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia.

"Buryatia is interacting with Mongolia in many aspects. The first one is logistics and transport to expedite traffic, including freight traffic, both from Russia to Mongolia and trilateral ones: Russia–Mongolia–China. Readiness to organize the transport and logistical corridor is at a high level. The parties are gathering cargo traffic information," the head of the Russian region said.

Organization of the Erenhot–Ulaanbaatar–Ulan-Ude international automobile corridor is being discussed, Tsydenov noted. The issue regarding the needs for cargoes shipping to China and to Russia is being explored with local businessman. The Kyakhta transport and logistical terminal is operating in full swing in Buryatia to increase the cargo flow between the countries.
