Integration at EAEU beneficial to every member country, Putin believes

According to the Russian leader, cooperation at the EAEU helps the five member countries maintain a sustainable economic growth and ensure the well-being for their citizens

IGORA /Leningrad Region/, December 26. /TASS/. The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has contributed to expanding business contacts, and deepening cooperation, while integration benefits every member country, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

"The activity of the Eurasian Economic Union contributes to expanding growth and investment exchanges, boosting business contacts and deepening cooperation. And most importantly, integration [within the Union] brings concrete benefits to every member of our association," the Russian leader stated.

According to Putin, cooperation at the EAEU helps the five member countries maintain a sustainable economic growth and ensure the well-being for their citizens.

"I stress that Russia appreciates the mutually advantageous multifaceted cooperation with its Eurasian partners, and we are sincerely seeking to boost joint efforts toward comprehensively strengthening our integration union," he added.

The EAEU comprises Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia.
