West may propose cap on other Russian products besides oil — Senior diplomat

According to Sergey Ryabkov, Russia will not be left without export revenues, and Russian manufacturers will have orders

MOSCOW, November 17. /TASS/. A number of Western representatives may propose to cap prices for other Russian goods besides oil, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said in an interview with RTVI.

"I suppose that in this Russophobic frenzy, the most rabid figures could offer something similar [to the introduction of a price cap] for other product categories. Of course, we oppose this, but we will adjust to the situation," he said.

According to Ryabkov, Russia will not be left without export revenues, and Russian manufacturers will have orders.

"Such measures to adjust to the universal nature of commodity markets and the monetary and financial system which are being destroyed by the West itself, are now being intensified," the Deputy Foreign Minister said.
