Russia sells its military products to over 50 states, demand stable — federal service

Demand is not decreasing, despite attempts to pressure and discredit, the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation said

MOSCOW, February 24. /TASS/. Russia is selling its military products to more than 50 countries, and the demand remains stable despite pressure and attempts to discredit them, the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSVTS) has told TASS.

"In general, the demand for Russian military products does not decline despite attempts of pressure and discrediting, the portfolio of orders remains at a fairly high level," FSVTS said. "For today, Russia maintains defense cooperation with a hundred of countries, and delivers defense industry products to more than 50 countries."

"We have a stable portfolio of export orders, which amounted to $50-$55 billion of US dollars (over 3 trillion rubles). The tendency remains approximately the same at present," the state service added.

The authority said that it was still compiling its final report for 2022.

"Although a significant portion of weapons produced was used <…> for the needs of the Russian Armed Forces amid the special military operation, one can say for sure that having summed up the results, we will see that our export plans for 2022 have been fulfilled," FSVTS said.
