Russia urges foreign countries to refrain from unfounded statements on Ukraine

In Mikhail Mizintsev, the chief of Russia’s National Defense Management Center words, Russia counts on further support from Germany, Turkey and France in this regard

MOSCOW, April 7. /TASS/. Russia calls upon foreign officials to refrain from making unfounded statements about Ukraine and to concentrate on solving humanitarian problems in the country, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, the chief of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, said on Thursday.

"We call upon officials from concerned foreign countries to refrain from making such unfounded statements and to concentrate on real practical work to achieve progress in solving humanitarian problems in Ukraine," said Mizintsev, who also heads the Russian Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine.

In his words, Russia counts on further support from Germany, Turkey and France in this regard. The official expressed hope that those countries would use their clout to make the Kiev government honor its humanitarian obligations to the people of Ukraine.
