MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. Tokyo continues its reckless steps with yet another package of illegitimate sanctions against Russia, provoking the degradation of "what little remains" of its relations with Moscow, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

On October 2, Japan announced the 27th "package" of illegitimate measures against 33 Russian companies and nine people as well as a number of companies abroad, the diplomat said.

"Furthermore, the unfriendly decisions are for the first time related to navigation restrictions," Zakharova noted.

"The Japanese government continues to take thoughtless steps that provoke further degradation of what little remains of the country’s relations with Russia."
