Mohammad Mustafa appointed new Prime Minister of Palestine — decree

President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas also to ordered him to form the 19th government of Palestine within the timeframe

CAIRO, March 14. /TASS/. President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas appointed Mohammad Mustafa, Chairman of the Palestine Investment Fund (PIF), as the Prime Minister of Palestine. The corresponding decree was signed by Abbas and forwarded to Mustafa.

"We decided to appoint you as the prime minister and to order you to form the 19th government of Palestine within the timeframe, set by the law," says the document, published by WAFA. The head of the Palestinian National Authority called on the new prime minister to "protect the interest of the Palestinian people, to preserve and multiply its achievements and to help it on its path towards achievement of set goals.".
