MOSCOW, December 20. /TASS/. Explosions were heard early on Wednesday on the outskirts of Kiev as the Ukrainian capital’s air defenses were in action, the Kiev city military administration wrote on Telegram.

"Air defenses are in action on the outskirts of the capital," the statement says.

No other details are known at this point. Currently, an air raid warning is in force in seven Ukrainian regions, including the capital.
