Pakistan registered Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine

The number of countries where the Russian vaccine is registered will reach 25 by the end of this week

MOSCOW, February 9. /TASS/. The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has approved application of the Russian coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) says on Tuesday.

"Pakistan has become the 22nd country in the world that approved the Sputnik V vaccine. The vaccine was registered in Pakistan within the framework of the emergency use authorization procedure on the basis of data of Sputnik V clinical trials in Russia," RDIF reports.

The number of countries where the Russian vaccine is registered will reach 25 by the end of this week, RDIF Chief Executive Kirill Dmitriev said earlier.
