Second Games of the Future to be held in 2025

On the opening day of the Games of the Future, Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced their desire to host the competition in upcoming years

KAZAN, February 26. /TASS/. The second Games of the Future will be held outside Russia in 2025, Igor Stolyarov, the event’s head, told TASS.

The first Games of the Future are being held in Kazan from February 21 to March 3.

"In 2025, the Games of the Future will definitely take place; they will definitely be held in another country. We will hold them every year, and as for the host country, keep an eye on the news," Stolyarov said.

The main program of the Games of the Future includes 16 disciplines, with five more in the extended program, most of them combining cyber and classical sports. More than 2,000 people from 107 countries are taking part in the competition.
