MOSCOW, November 24. /TASS/. A Russian Emergencies Ministry plane will bring over 100 more Russians and their family members evacuated from the Gaza Strip to Moscow, the ministry's press service told TASS.
"An IL-76 airplane of the Russian Emergencies Ministry will bring more than 100 Russian citizens and their family members evacuated from the Gaza Strip to Domodedovo Airport. Another group of people is heading to Cairo Airport by bus for a further flight to Moscow," the press service said.
The Emergencies Ministry added that it was the eighth special flight to be carried out by the ministry's aircraft during a humanitarian mission to evacuate Russian citizens and their family members from the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone. "As before, the evacuees will be accompanied by rescuers and medics along the way," the ministry added.
A total of more than 650 people, including over 300 children, have been taken to Russia since the start of the evacuation operation.
