FSB foils attempted terror attack by supporters of Ukrainian nationalists in south Russia

FSB officers confiscated fire arms, explosives, components for a flamethrower, a home-made explosive device and manuals on how to organize mass disorder from the detainees’ premises and a cache

MOSCOW, October 28. /TASS/. Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has thwarted a terror attack being plotted by supporters of Ukrainian nationalists in southern Russia. Four people were arrested, FSB’s PR Center told TASS on Friday.

"The Federal Security Service has foiled an attempt at criminal activity by a group of four people who have been planning to commit a terrorist attack in the Stavropol Region. It was established that, as supporters of the ideology of Ukraine’s nationalist organizations, the detainees had been plotting a terror attack at a regional administration facility," FSB said, adding that the suspects were in custody.

A criminal case has been launched.
