Russia, US maintain cooperation in space, senior Russian official says

According to media reports in December, Russian state aerospace corporation Roscosmos said its cross-flight program with NASA to the ISS had been extended until 2025

SIRIUS /Federal Territory/, March 4. /TASS/. Russia and the United States continue cooperating in outer space, in particular under the International Space Station (ISS) project, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov said, addressing the World Youth Festival.

"We are open to international dialogue on space, as we maintain cooperation with the United States even in these circumstances," the senior Russian official said, citing both the ISS and the two countries’ cross-flight program.

According to media reports in December, Russian state aerospace corporation Roscosmos said its cross-flight program with NASA to the ISS had been extended until 2025.

The World Youth Festival is taking place in the Sirius Federal Territory on March 1-7, 2024. While applications to attend were submitted by over 300,000 people from 190 countries, 20,000 delegates are taking part. Participants in the festival’s regional program will visit 30 Russian cities on March 10-17. TASS is the general media partner of the event.
