Ukrainian budget lost $691 mln due to explosions since early 2026

According to late summer forecasts, the Ukrainian budget will lose about $155 mln more by the end of this year

MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. The Ukrainian budget lost $691 mln from explosions and fires during the period from January to August 2026, according to Ukrainian Cabinet data reviewed by TASS.

Ukrainian budget revenues were planned at the level of about $64.5 bln at the turn of 2025, not including grants. According to late summer forecasts, the Ukrainian budget will lose about $155 mln more by the end of this year, and total losses will therefore reach $846 mln.

August forecasts did not take account for the complete stop of the Ukrainian metallurgic industry by the end of September.
