Kremlin dismisses as ‘inappropriate’ Washington’s comments on Russia-South Ossetia Treaty

The presidents of Russia and South Ossetia put their signatures under the document and require no third-party comments, Kremlin spokesman says

MOSCOW, March 18. /TASS/. The Treaty of Alliance between Russia and South Ossetia requires no comments from the United States, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"The presidents of Russia and South Ossetia put their signatures under the document. They require no third-party comments," Peskov said when asked how the Kremlin perceived the US statements on the illegitimate nature of the Russia-South Ossetia treaty.

The bilateral treaty of alliance is expected to be signed on Wednesday.
