Cosmetics production in Moscow rises by 17% in past eight months

Sobyanin noted that Svoboda cosmetics factory in the capital celebrates 180 years

MOSCOW, October 30. /TASS/. Cosmetics manufacturing in Moscow surged by 17% in the first eight months of 2023, Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin wrote in his Telegram channel.

"Moscow has over 30 cosmetic factories employing over 4,000 people. The capital’s output of soap, detergents, cleaning, polishing, perfume, and cosmetic items climbed by 17% in the first eight months of this year," the mayor wrote.

Sobyanin noted that Svoboda cosmetics factory in the capital celebrates 180 years. "The company has a long history. Perfume, soap, athletic items, and even artist makeup were created here. High-tech equipment now enables us to create more than 6 mln units of items per month. The selection includes 360 items, including cosmetics, toothpastes, shampoos, and much more," Sobyanin added.
