VIENNA, November 6. /TASS/. Ukrainian intelligence services widely use "dirty money" to recruit people to commit unlawful acts in Russia, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Dmitry Lyubinsky said.
"The need to strengthen the anti-corruption regime is also driven by emerging threats related to combating the laundering of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorism. Ukrainian intelligence services widely use dirty money to recruit people, including minors, to commit unlawful acts in Russia," the diplomat told reporters.
He added that Moscow did not intend to turn a blind eye to the problem and would use all legal means, including those provided by international conventions and treaties, to counter this threat to Russia’s security and sovereignty.
