Russia expects Iran’s President to take part in GECF summit — Lavrov

The summit will take place in Moscow in late October

TEHRAN, October 19. /TASS/. Russia expects that President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian will participate in the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) summit on October 27 in Moscow, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a joint press conference after talks with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

"We expect President Pezeshkian will be able to attend the summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum, which will take place in late October in Moscow," the top Russian diplomat said.

Russia also expects that the Iranian delegation will participate in the Minsk security conference.
