Russia’s top security official holds talks with Libyan national security adviser

"Special attention was paid to anti-terrorist activities and cooperation to prevent and deal with the aftermath of emergency situations," the Russian Security Council added

MOSCOW, November 13. /TASS/. Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev has held talks with Libyan National Security Advisor Ibrahim Bushnaf in Moscow.

The security officials "considered issues of interaction between the two countries’ security councils, law enforcement agencies and special services," the press service of the Russian Security Council said. "Special attention was paid to anti-terrorist activities and cooperation to prevent and deal with the aftermath of emergency situations," it added.

Besides, they exchanged views on the current security situation in Libya, "as well as on the situation in the Middle East and in North Africa," the press service went on to say.
