MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. The Russian Guard’s field engineers have uncovered over 600 munitions at a derelict factory in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), the Guard’s press officer told TASS on Monday.
"The Russian Guardsmen are carrying out work on the premises of a derelict factory in one of the LPR communities to find, identify and defuse explosives. The Russian Guard’s engineers have found 152mm artillery shells, detonators, ammunition for the Tyulpan mortar, rockets for the Uragan multiple launch rocket system, mortar rounds, tank projectiles, hand-held grenade launchers and their ammunition, totaling over 600 munitions," the press officer said in a statement.
The Russian Guard’s field engineers are carrying out mine clearance work complying with all safety requirements, it said.
