No signs of explosion in Moscow Region’s Kolomna after emergency services' inspection

District head Alexander Grechishchev also noted that there were no fires or damage

MOSCOW, March 3. /TASS/. Emergency services haven’t found any signs of an explosion in the Kolomna urban district. The patrolling of the territory continues and the residents are safe, district head Alexander Grechishchev said on Friday.

"I will once again explain you last night’s events: a loud clap, which was heard by residents of the northern part of the district (we are in contact through dialogue chats with them and other residents of rural areas). After the reports, emergency services went out to check the area. No signs of an explosion were found. Patrolling continues to this day. Drones were in the air to survey the area. The situation is under control," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

He added that the residents were safe.

The official also noted that there were no fires or damage. Gas and electricity supply in the Kolomna district operate in the normal mode.

"I ask you not to give in to provocations and not to trust fake messages, which can be used as terrorist methods to intimidate the population," Grechishchev added.
