TEL AVIV, January 27. /TASS/. The armed attack on a synagogue in Easter Jerusalem Friday evening, which resulted in at least 5 people killed, is considered a terror attack, the Israeli police press office tweeted, adding that the attacker has been eliminated.

"Preliminary report: a terror attack on a synagogue in Jerusalem. We have just received a report about a shooting in Jerusalem’s Neve Yaakov District. Several people were injured in the shooting. The terrorist has been neutralized," the police tweeted.
