KIEV, March 4. /TASS/. Kiev calls on its international partners to exert more pressure on Moscow amid the situation around the Zaporozhskaya nuclear power plant, located in the city of Energodar that is controlled by Russia.

On Friday, while commenting on the situation around the nuclear power plant, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky stressed the need to increase sanction pressure against Russia.

A fire broke out at the Zaporozhskaya nuclear power plant on Friday night. According to the Defense Ministry, the Russian Guard’s patrol was attacked by a Ukrainian sabotage group that attempted a provocation. The ministry emphasized that the power plant was under control of the Russian army and resumed to work as usual, the level of radiation remains normal.
