Free trade agreement between EAEU, UAE to enter into force on October 6, 2026

The sides have completed all procedures related to the ratification and entry into force of the free trade agreement

CHOLPON-ATA /Kyrgyzstan/, August 6. /TASS/. The free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will enter into force on October 6, 2026, EEC Trade Minister Andrey Slepnev told reporters on the sidelines of the 8th Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum.

"Today, an exchange of notes with the Emirati side took place. We have completed all procedures related to the ratification and entry into force of the free trade agreement with the United Arab Emirates. The date for its entry into force has been set for October 6, 2026," he said.
