MOSCOW, April 1. /TASS/. Aeroflot continues maintaining its earlier forecasts for 2026 even despite the unstable situation in the international aviation industry, CEO Sergey Aleksandrovsky said in an interview with Vesti program.
"Even after lapse of three months and considering all the turbulence taking place in international aviation, the Aeroflot Group keeps its forecasts for 2026 from the standpoint of volume metrics of passenger transportation, and we also maintain our financial goals," he said.
The airline will complete all the confirmed additional flights to Asian countries despite the aviation fuel price hike in international markets amid the Middle East conflict, the chief executive noted.
"Further to the fuel [price] rise, issues fundamentally arise also with its availability. However, all the volumes were confirmed to Aeroflot for all additional flights, and we are confident therefore that we will perform them," he said.
The aviation fuel price hike was up to 60% in certain markets, Alexandrovsky added.
