Skat-220 UAV deployed to special military op zone features new anti-FPV drone sensor

PATRIOT PARK, /Moscow Region/, August 13. /TASS/. The latest Skat-220 reconnaissance drone, deployed to Russia’s special military operation zone in Ukraine, has been equipped with a unique sensor for the avoidance of enemy FPV drones, Alan Lushnikov, CEO of the Kalashnikov Group, told reporters.

According to him, the drone has recently flown at record speed during combat operations.

The Skat-220 broke its own speed record, reaching 250 km/h, even though its rated speed is 220 km/h. This was documented on the line of engagement. This allows the drone to evade FPV drones and pass through certain lines of defense without suffering losses. "Plus, it now has a sensor that allows it to perform anti-drone maneuvers," said Lushnikov.

He noted that the company is very pleased with the product. "We are very happy that we have been able to provide our army with such an excellent asset," he said.
